Where We Stayed In Bali

WE SPENT A MONTH EXPLORING BALI AND STAYED IN SOME EPIC PLACES

LA JOYA II BIU BIU, ULUWATU

We loved this place. The temperature of the infinity pool was perfect, the views over the cliff to the ocean and the general vibe is just how you would imagine a coastal Bali resort to be.

3 nights cost us £203

KUBU BINGIN BEACH, ULUWATU

We stayed in this traditional Bali beach house. The waves crashed directly under the house at night as the tide came in and we felt like we were lost on a tropical island. It was a perfect 3 day escape on the beach.

3 night cost us £150

KILA INFINITY 8 JIMBARAN

We stayed in Jimbaran because we needed to wait a couple of days to collect our passports and new visas before heading to Changgu. This is the perfect hotel if you are extending your visa at the Jimbaran office as it is only a 5 minute walk away.

We were hosted on a complimentary basis

CHANGGU BEACH APARTMENTS, CANGUU

I think this is my favourite place we stayed in Bali. The polished concrete bathrooms and Incredible jungle themed shared pool blew us away. The beach and nightlife of Changgu was only short walk away. We would live in this apartment in a heart beat!

We were hosted on a complimentary basis

WAPA DI UME UBUD RESORT & SPA, UBUD

We felt like we were on our honeymoon. We splashed out for a one night stay at one of the ultimate luxury Ubud hotels. It was relaxing and beautiful and the infinity pool had the most incredible view. They also offered complimentary classes and morning yoga was our pick.

1 night cost us £162

ASTAWA HOUSE, UBUD

After two weeks of luxury and unique accommodation we planned to explore a lot of Ubud and just needed a comfortable bed. Astawa was perfect. It was comfortable, clean and very very cheap for what it was. It was the perfect base to explore Ubud from without paying for the frills of a more expensive hotel. It even had a hot shower!

5 nights cost us £53

PERTIWI BISMA, UBUD

Our final stay was Pertiwi bisma. This one does come with a caveat though. We would recommend staying here if you can book one of their traditional Bali style huts. The cheaper rooms just are not worth it. The tradtional huts by the pool are beautiful and it was a fun place to spend Christmas with a giant ginger bread house in reception.

3 nights cost us £121
